These annual Scabiosa seed heads are just marvellous!

And the zinnias have finally filled out - grasshoppers were eating them and until now most of them did not get to grow their full petal skirts.

The other garden delight that's flowering right now are the coreopsis - I am hoping very much that they self seed and survive the winter cold to come back next spring!
